Maintenance and final cleaning

The bed is still made up from the last guests to protect it from dust. Fresh bed linen is in the cupboard above the bed. Towels are in the cupboard in the bathroom.

Please wash and put away the laundry of the last guests. The washing machine has a little quirk: it wants the door to be pressed firmly again before starting :-) Of course, you should also leave the bed made at the end of your stay. That way, there's no stress on the day of departure.

How the sofa bed works is explained below.

The sink in the bathroom stores water for flushing the toilet when the drain is down. When it is up, the water flows directly into the sewer system. The drain can be switched by simply pressing it. So please just flush toothpaste, shaving cream, etc. down the drain. Unscrew and clean the drain on the sink once a week or at the end of your stay and soak it in cleaning vinegar overnight (picture).

Please wash the dishes, dust the shelves, vacuum the floor, and pick up any debris. Also clean the drain in the shower and leave it open (picture).

The pigeons sometimes dirty the balcony. We apologize for this and are looking for solutions. Do you have any good ideas?

Secure laundry outside with clothes pegs and do not leave it outside unnecessarily long. If the carpet is shaken out or the balcony is swept on the upper floors, this can lead to unpleasant surprises. Inform the neighbors below before shaking out the carpet yourself, etc.! When you leave, please do not leave anything on the balcony.

Roca W+W (operating instructions)

The Sink W+W from Roca in the bathroom stores water for flushing the toilet when the drain is down. When it is up, the water flows directly into the sewer system. The drain can be switched by simply pressing it. Please dispose of toothpaste, shaving cream, etc. directly into the sewer system. Unscrew and clean the drain on the washbasin once a week or at the end of your stay and soak it in cleaning vinegar overnight (picture).

Sofa bed (how to fold out)

First, the sofa and the shelf above it must be empty. Then carefully pull on the shelf at the top (it has a handle). Carefully fold out the bed completely. The shelf now serves as the foot of the bed. The sofa itself also has a footrest that can be folded out. Here it is all step by step in a photo gallery:

Cupboard with bedding and clothes

You will find bedding and other items in the cupboards above the bed. The pillows, pillowcases, and sheets are on the far left. There is also an electric heater and a fan there. However, it is better to use blankets and ventilate the room well. Electricity, water, and gas are very expensive here. The second compartment contains duvets and duvet covers, the third contains backpacks, and the fourth contains yoga mats and a sheepskin. The large closet on the far right contains Sibylle's and my clothes. You are welcome to use the closet next to the bed for your clothes. There are also instructions for use and a box of wine in case you urgently need a drink.
